We engineered, developed, and led the nationwide deployment of an automated, real-time financial risk mitigation network, pioneering an early architectural infrastructure for Distributed Data Aggregation and Dissemination across leading retail chains in Israel.
The platform functioned as an advanced, zero-touch data harvesting layer that automatically detected, parsed, and scraped text inputs directly from third-party accounting software screens without human intervention. To operate without source code access to host accounting programs, the system utilized complex low-level TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) assembly and C logic within the DOS operating system.
The production architecture consisted of several highly integrated distributed modules:
- Dynamic Layout Learning Module: A configuration engine that learned and mapped UI forms across diverse accounting packages, decoupling the software from host system constraints.
- Hardened Local Relational Schema: A custom-designed local database explicitly obfuscated and cryptographically hardened against binary cracking and tampering.
- Automated Dial-Up Synchronization Network: A nationwide overnight data dissemination pipeline utilizing automated acoustic dial-up modems over telephone lines to batch-transfer daily risk logs from a central facility to edge deployments.
- Asynchronous Offline Ledger Merger: An automated background processing engine that merged data updates into the local edge ledger after line disconnection, preventing runtime lockouts.
- Non-Intrusive Event Trapper: A background inspection interceptor that captured check properties during entry, executing localized database queries and generating critical operational alerts strictly upon detecting verified risk vectors.
